What happens in the bedroom comes out on stage this February, only to prove those who believe “what happens in the bedroom, stays in the bedroom” wrong. Big Nose Productions presents Tales from the Bedroom this year, featuring a brilliant cast who come out on stage to give a hilarious performance to mature audiences only. Sorry kids!
With Valentine’s day on its way, writer and producer Fa Abdul brings you joyand laughter by presenting ten short plays about her take on situations that happen in the bedroom. And in case you were wondering, YES, the plays are all based on real life stories. You’re welcome! The plays provide powerful yet comical insights on the lives of ordinary Malaysian with a single aim – to get us peek into our own bedroom antics and reflect our own relationships.
The show come to Penang this year, subsequent to three consecutive years of sold-out runs in Kuala Lumpur in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The success of the show in the 
past comes as no surprise and its success this time should not too, given the fact that this one is a compilation of an all comedy line-up from Tales from the Bedroom I, II, III. There will be two original plays as well for the people who have been to the show before.
Featuring a collection of 10 actors and actresses – Michael Jackman, Ivan Gabriel, Ida Suhaini, Prem Varijakzhan, Aloyah Bakar, Sharmen Balachandran, Rezuriff Zee, Roshini Chandran, Tan Seoh Chen and Lucille Dass – the cast comes from all walks of life & age; Yoga trainer, automative expert, lecturer, medical practitioner, teacher , student, retiree and artist.
Fa Abdul, a writer, social-media activist, co-founder of Big Nose Productions, is a name known well in the performing arts industry for the Boh Cameronian Kakiseni award she won through Shakespeare Goes Bollywood in 2016 and the numerous awards under her belt in Short + Sweet Theater Festival (Mercedes Benz Creative Excellence Award, Festival Director Award, Best Director, Best Script, Best Overall Production and Audience Choice Award).
